The powerful THD is designed for industrial applications, even with highly reflective materials. The sensor scans the joint without contact and transmits to the robot the seam position, gap size, edge offset and the orientation of the tool relative to the part surface. The sensor is suitable for most demanding applications as it is insensitive to stray light, water and dust (IP64) and electromagnetic radiation (EMC) has no effect on it.
