GESIPA's PolyGrip blind rivets can achieve watertightness and splash-proof functions under certain conditions through its special design and manufacturing process. After tested for watertightness under specific experimental conditions, it can achieve excellent watertightness performance using a special coating. It can stay at up to 100 hours underwater at a maximum depth of 35 cm without leakage. Depending on the application additional rubber sealing gaskets are not a "must" anymore. We offer application designed solutions including continuous watertightness tests according to the agreements.
The PolyGrips's hole filling and rest mandrel locking performance make of them a real alternative to closed end rivets when it is essential to prevent water flowing through the whole fastening point - combined with the reliable, resistant and tough joining capability.
