1. Linear Motors and frame torque motors can be configured with corresponding digital Houle modules.
2. When the stator (primary coil assembly) is not energized, the digital Houle module can be used to determine the electrical position of the rotor (secondary permanent magnet ring) . The invention avoids the instant jitter of the up-power without Houle commutating, and simplifies the start-up of the motor.
