Smart the Future

AMTS 2016, the biggest exhibition in Asia for the automobile material and design, processing and equipment, quality and assembly engineering and services, closed successfully on August 26 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Active participation and positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors again validates the “Connect Businesses” concept of the organizer, Forever Expo. For 3 days, 55,147 visitors from 24 countries and districts visited the exhibition, the highest since its first opening in 2004. The visitor number grew by 50.7% comparing to 2015. Moreover, the exhibition area and exhibitor number also made solid progresses at AMTS 2016. The exhibition expands from 5 halls in 2015 to 7 halls this year. A historical 547 exhibitors from 30 countries and districts showcased their products and services, 19.4% more than 2015.
 
The accompany programs upgraded again. Over 50 events and conferences were held on car body stamping, welding, painting, powertrain mechanical processing, assembly and testing. The programs for the first time addressed new energy vehicles and commercial vehicles. A total of 4,587 audiences participated in the accompany programs.
