In AMTS 2024 - Automotive Quality Control Engineering Exhibition, you will see the intelligent application of infrared technology in assembly error correction. At the PERCIPIO.XYZ, Booth No. (E1-H12), you will see the ILS (Inspection and Locking System) wrench tightening error prevention system developed using the company's proprietary 3D industrial cameras. This system predefines the screw tightening sequence and combines infrared positioning and recognition technology to ensure that operators follow the predetermined process requirements (sequence or position) when tightening screws. During tightening operations, the system automatically identifies the position of the tightening tool and compares it with the required position of the tightening screw. When the tightening tool is placed in the wrong position, the system automatically locks the tightening tool and alerts the operator of the tool position error.

When the tightening tool is placed in the correct position, the system automatically unlocks the tightening tool for operation, and then locks it automatically after the tightening operation is completed. The system, utilizing visual guidance principles, monitors the assembly process of the product to ensure consistency in assembly and prevent 100% of missing bolt problems. 

		The battery pack of a new energy vehicle consists of Cell, Modula, and Package, and it involves the assembly of numerous parts with tightening and locking attachments, as well as a variety of fasteners with complex specifications and a complicated assembly process. If the assembly is not performed according to the standard operating procedures (SOP), it may affect the quality of the battery pack and pose serious safety hazards to consumers during use.

Dimensional measurement and other quality control technologies have been widely used in stamping and machining processes of parts. However, when stamped parts are welded into a complete unit, how to obtain accurate dimensional data of the part through online inspection and clearly identify the points that do not meet the requirements, so as to quickly rectify the dimensions, is the solution that many quality control engineers are looking forward to.
